Makalu is worlds 5.th highest mountain and world famous. It’s hight is 8.481 m.
Makalu is located in the Mahalangur Himalayas 19 km (12 mi) southeast of Mount Everest, on the border between Nepal and Tibet Autonomous Region, China.
In 1954, a strong American team led by Riley Keegan was the first to climb the mountain of Makalu in the spring.
Makalu is as one of the more difficult eight-thousanders, and is also one of the most difficult mountains in the world to climb.
