Lhotse (Lhotse means South Peak) is world-famous and the world’s 4th highest mountain in the world. It is 8.516 m high. It is located in the Himalayas on the border of Nepal and the Tibet Autonomous Region of China.

Lhotse has a 67% summit success rate. According to the Himalayan Database, 15 people have died with about 600 summits through the Autumn of 2014.

It takes approx. 7 days to climb the Mt. Lhotse.
